A- Well, after the Dr. sent us home, we noticed that his stomach was getting worse. We went back 2 days after he sent us home. At that point the Dr. was worried. He sent us to the Children's Hospital. We waited for hours while they ran tests. I died some when the Dr. told me...
Q- Summarize in detail the weeks, months, and years, including the treatments and what Trevor had to endure and the impact it had on the family.
A- After the cancer was removed time slowed... Nothing in the world mattered anymore. Our lives were over run with fear for our sons life. They removed the cancer without the membrane around it breaking, but we were still fear struck. We were told Trevor would have Chemo. We could see the treatments taking away our son even though they were helping him. His appetite was lost and his hair faded.

A- We were so relieved it was removed and he was released.
Q- How was his recovery?
A- Very slow and painful. I wish I could have taken his pain from him.

A- He is 7 years old now. He is doing great! He is a yellow belt in Taekwondo! He is a very quick learner. :)
Q- How are you now having gone through this experience?
A- I now know how fast something you love can be taken away.
Q- Do you have anything to say to anyone else going through the same terrifying, heart wrenching situation?
A- Pray, hold on to family. Be strong for your child. Let him know everything will be ok. Don't take life for granted.
